Tal's Path to Becoming an Herbalist

Tal first got interested in herbalism when one of his classmates told him that yarrow had healing properties. Then he got a book from the library about medicinal herbs and he really liked it. He then used his own money to buy an herbal encyclopedia for $40. From there, he just became really interested in herbalism. He has created a home laboratory using some of his own money.

    Tal's Favorite Herbs

    Tal's favorite herbs include:

    • Chamomile, because it smells good

    • Lemon balm, because it's antiviral. The Romans used to sprinkle it in their wine when they had fevers.

    • Neem, because it is antimalarial and antifungal (though he hasn't found any to buy yet).

    • Mugwort, because it helps you remember your dreams

    • Myrrh, because it has anti-ulcer properties. Tal get bad canker sores in his mouth.
